Thurston on the wall

I have wanted to have a canvas printed of the kids for quite some time now, but never got round to it for some reason. A few weeks ago, a lovely company called Hello Canvas offered to have one made up for me. I was very excited to choose a photo, although my selection was limited as I generally only take pictures on my iPhone and these weren’t quite the right size of file. I’m sure with some technical wizardry they could be resized but my computer skills are limited to Facebook and clothes shopping. I found a beautiful shot that I had taken on my camera on our day out in London. Although not all of the children are in it, it captures a lovely moment of Thurston being independant and adventurous and venturing off into St James’s Park without a care in the world.

The delivery of our canvas was really speedy and I was really happy when I opened the box. The canvas is amazing quality and the image hasn’t been affected at all by being enlarged and stretched over the canvas which is really impressive. The colours are crisp and clear and you can see each individual tree in the park, right down to the different greens of the leaves. Our canvas is the 20 x 28 inch size which hangs on our wall perfectly, and would cost £39 (free postage!) which I think is brilliant value.

As Thurston has lots of difficulties with his health and development, sometimes it can really help to have a lovely big picture on the wall to remind me of how happy, special and amazing he is.

I am absolutely thrilled with our canvas from Hello Canvas and will definitely be ordering more from there in the future. I’ve already had several friends enquire about where it came from and tell me how lovely it is.

Thank you so much Hello Canvas, it has really brightened up our lounge!

Thanks for reading!
